The forming area mainly includes: solidification belt, solidification belt cleaning device, belt deviation corrector, tapered belt, paper feeding wheel, bonding water, forming pressure plate, forming presser foot, spray water, etc. The formed gypsum board is gradually solidified on the solidification belt to meet the requirements of slitting. Both good and bad molding of gypsum board is done here. The high level of attention and agility required for operators here results in a low probability of waste generation.

The knife area can be divided into open drum, automatic thickness gauge, cutting knife, acceleration drum, automatic template extractor, wet plate transfer, flipping arm, lifting platform, and lifting distribution bridge according to the conveying sequence of gypsum board. The automatic thickness gauge and template automatic extraction machine mentioned here are relatively rare in domestic gypsum board factories, and high-speed gypsum board production lines may have this function. Some gypsum board companies refer to the cutting area as "one horizontal", mainly because there is a horizontal transfer process of gypsum board here, and the same principle applies to the exit area as "two horizontal".

The drying area mainly includes: the fast section at the inlet of the dryer, the slow section at the inlet of the dryer, the preheating section of the dryer, the drying chamber, the heat exchange circulation system, the slow section at the outlet of the dryer, the fast section at the outlet of the dryer, and the discharge port. According to the type of input energy consumption, dryers can be divided into types such as thermal oil, natural gas, steam, and coal.
