Gypsum Board Machinery

Introduction to the Gypsum board machinery

The entire Gypsum board machinery production process of gypsum board is a relatively complex process, and the main steps can be divided into the following major areas: gypsum powder calcination area, dry addition area, wet addition area, mixing area, forming area, knife area, drying area, finished product area, and packaging area. There can be different partitioning methods above. According to the functional modules of each factory, they can be merged or split.

The gypsum powder calcination area can be divided into the following processes according to the transportation process of gypsum powder: gypsum raw material storage yard, grinding&drying, calcination, cooling, grinding, and storage. Before calcination, gypsum is mainly composed of dihydrate gypsum, and calcination is the process of converting dihydrate gypsum into hemihydrate gypsum. The calcined gypsum is mainly composed of hemihydrate gypsum.

The dry addition area includes gypsum powder, starch, coagulants, retarders, refractory materials, cement, etc. according to the types of additives. The functions of various additives are different, and some individual additives can also be omitted. However, these types of additives are not the only ones that are not listed here. The first three additives are essential for general factories.

The wet addition area also includes water, water reducing agent, soap liquid, soap liquid water, air, glue system, water resistant agent, etc. according to the types of additives. Among them, soap liquid, soap liquid water, and air are the systems that generate bubbles. Wet addition is basically transported to the mixer through pipelines, pumps, and flow meters. Any dry or wet additives are ultimately transported to the mixer for thorough mixing to form gypsum slurry.
