2021 China by-product gypsum large-scale application exchange conference and exhibition held in Chengdu

The 2021 China Industrial Byproduct Gypsum Scale Application Exchange Conference and Exhibition, with the theme of "Improving Quality and Efficiency, Green Leading", was held in Chengdu, Sichuan.

This summit forum is hosted by the Gypsum Building Materials Branch of the China Building Materials Federation. The conference revolved around the theme of "improving quality and efficiency, leading green", and engaged in technical exchanges on promoting the large-scale comprehensive utilization of China's industrial by-product gypsum and the research and development of gypsum building materials with high added value products.

The organizers' personnel stated that this time, the theme is specifically focused on the application of by-product gypsum, indicating that the current application of by-product gypsum has become the mainstream of the industry and has reached a critical period of transformation and development. This transformation has three meanings: first, the transformation of by-product gypsum from small-scale scattered application to large-scale application; second, the transformation of equipment technology from low-grade and low-level to high-tech and advanced equipment level; third, the application range of by-product gypsum has expanded from a few products to almost all gypsum materials and products

At the meeting, domestic and foreign experts were invited to discuss the implementation path of carbon reduction and carbon neutrality technology in the building materials industry, as well as the direction of advanced and cutting-edge technologies for carbon reduction, with a focus on discussing carbon reduction technology solutions for the cement industry.
