Saint-Gobain, a French building products manufacturer, announced plans this week to invest $235 million across the next two years in the expansion and modernization of its CertainTeed gypsum manufacturing facility in Palatka, Florida.Per a company statement, the primary objective of the investment is to increase the production capacity of the existing plant while concurrently improving its energy consumption. The expansion of the facility will also involve the installation of energy-saving equipment and automation technology.

Recently, the second gypsum production line of Guizhou Yongdingshun Gypsum Building Materials Co., Ltd., a key investment attraction project of Guizhou Jinyuan Qianxi Power Plant, has been completed and put into operation. The production line will consume 240000 tons of gypsum and 120000 tons of steam from Qianxi Power Plant annually.It is reported that Guizhou Yongdingshun Gypsum Building Materials Co., Ltd. is a key investment attraction enterprise of Qianxi Power Plant.
