Saint-Gobain, a French building products manufacturer, announced plans this week to invest $235 million across the next two years in the expansion and modernization of its CertainTeed gypsum manufacturing facility in Palatka, Florida.Per a company statement, the primary objective of the investment is to increase the production capacity of the existing plant while concurrently improving its energy consumption. The expansion of the facility will also involve the installation of energy-saving equipment and automation technology.
